Milprazon is a broad-spectrum anthelmintic combination drug designed for the treatment and prevention of worm infestations in dogs and cats. It is effective against both roundworms and tapeworms. Composition: • Milbemycin oxime – acts against intestinal nematodes (roundworms) and larvae of Dirofilaria immitis • Praziquantel – effective against tapeworms ✅ The combination of these active ingredients ensures high efficacy against various types of worms. Form and Dosage: For dogs: • Up to 5 kg: 2.5 mg milbemycin + 25 mg praziquantel • Over 5 kg: 12.5 mg milbemycin + 125 mg praziquantel For cats: • Up to 2 kg: 4 mg milbemycin + 10 mg praziquantel • Over 2 kg: 16 mg milbemycin + 40 mg praziquantel The tablets are meat-flavored, making them easier for animals to accept. Administration: • The tablet is given once, during or immediately after feeding • The dose is calculated based on the animal's body weight • No need to fast the animal before administration • Can be used in pregnant and lactating females Contraindications and Warnings: • Individual hypersensitivity to the drug components • Severe liver or kidney disorders • Not to be used in emaciated or severely ill animals • Use in Collie, Sheltie, and Bobtail puppies should be under veterinary supervision
